1. Information We Collect

Sylliqo may collect account information, email address, assignment text, syllabus text, school-related notes, uploaded screenshots or photos, saved workload data, plan status, payment status, and basic usage information.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create accounts, save assignments, provide AI planning, process payments, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and provide customer support.

3. Student Data Privacy

Sylliqo is built with student data protection in mind. We do not sell student personal information. We do not use student data for third-party behavioral advertising. We do not use student assignments, schoolwork, or uploaded school materials for marketing profiles.

4. School and FERPA-Aligned Use

When Sylliqo is used by a school, district, or educational organization, we aim to handle student information in a FERPA-aligned manner under the applicable school agreement. Schools may require additional written agreements that define data use, access, deletion, security, and school control terms.

5. COPPA and Younger Students

Sylliqo is not intended for direct use by children under 13 without appropriate parent, guardian, school, or district authorization. If we learn that we collected information from a child under 13 without required consent, we may restrict the account and delete related information.

6. AI Processing

When users ask Sylliqo to analyze assignments, screenshots, syllabus text, or workload data, the content provided may be sent to AI service providers to generate the requested planning output. Sylliqo uses this content to provide the requested feature, not to sell student data or build advertising profiles.

7. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Sylliqo does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers. Stripe may process payment information according to its own privacy and security practices.

8. Service Providers

Sylliqo may use service providers such as Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and OpenAI-related services to operate authentication, storage, hosting, payments, security, and AI features. These providers help us operate Sylliqo and are not permitted by us to sell student data.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account and assignment information as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain security, and meet legal or business requirements. Users, parents, schools, or districts may contact us to request account help or data deletion review.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and assignment information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

11. School Requests

Schools and districts may contact us about privacy terms, data deletion, student access, account questions, or security review. Additional school-specific agreements may apply for institutional use.
